Abigail (Abbie) has a love for natural healing and wellness which drew her to a career in massage therapy, where her goal is to help improve the quality of life of her clients.
She currently specialises in relaxation, therapeutic, deep tissue, trigger point and prenatal massage, but shows a keen interest in expanding her training to the areas of reflexology, fire cupping and lymphatic drainage.
Being from a small lobster fishing village in Nova Scotia, you can often find her satisfying her love for the water in her spare time. She enjoys fishing year round and can often be found curling up with a good true crime novel!
Alisa has a great passion for helping her clients to achieve their healthcare goals. She started at Healing Hands in 2013 and has grown a love for Lacombe and her client base. Alisa attended the Northern Institute of Massage Therapy where she completed the 2200 hour program requirements and has been adding modalities to her repertoire ever since. Jeremy is proud to call himself a Registered Massage Therapist! After years of working in the telecom, agriculture and other labor and service industries, he did extensive soul searching to find that his passion was to help others. He considers massage "a task of the hands, head and heart". He is excited most about the opportunity to improve the quality of life of the people whom he treats. His modalities include, therapeutic and relaxation, prenatal, fascial release, joint play and muscle energy techniques. In his free time, you might find Jeremy playing music around Red Deer county, hiking through the local trails or speeding down the slopes at Canyon Ski Resort. He considers himself extremely lucky to work alongside other professionals at an amazing clinic found within an unbelievable community!
Natalia brings to Healing Hands 20 years of experience in health care. Before emigrating to Canada from her native Russia, Natalia was a Dentist & Orthodontist. Mike was born and raised in Northwestern Ontario starting his career as a lumberjack for over 15 years. Always wanting to learn more and look for new challenges, at the age of 30, he went back to school to obtain a degree in Human Resource Management. Mike spent the next 25 years working in the Information Technologies field mainly in Oil and Gas.
After a multitude of past injuries, he felt a career change was warranted because the need to help others was very important to him. Mike graduated from the 3,000 hour Advanced Clinical Registered Massage Therapist diploma at Makami College in Calgary and believes this the most rewarding career he could have chosen.
